LA CASINA LUXURY GARDEN HOME is located in a very central location inside the Walls of Lucca, within a 3 to 7 mins walk away from both Bus Terminal and Lucca Central Train Station. A convenient parking is located a few steps from the apartment in about 5 mins walk away (they charge 6 euros daily but it is possible to buy a subscription for 50 euros to leave the car for up to 30 days).
The apartment is located in the most charming area of the town - the medieval district - very convenient to all sightseeing: 100 metres away from the main shopping street VIA FILLUNGO, 150 metres away from PIAZZA SAN MICHELE, 200 metres away from the PIAZZA GRANDE (also known as Piazza Napoleone) and the Lucca Summer Festival Concerts, 150 metres from the Theatre, 200 metres from The Cathedral of San Martino and the Guinigi Tower - one of the most renowned attractions of the town.
The property was originally a 1600s Carriage House and has been totally renovated in mid 2017 and has a spacious antique garden with several corners for dining and relaxing admiring the century old trees. The apartment is fully air conditioned and is provided with the most reliable wifi connection provided by the national phone company.
The apartment has a romantic view over the private garden and has a porch to have dining outside as well as a patio with sofas and loungers under the century old trees. The apartment comes with a laundry room with washer and clothes dryer, iron and board.
The fully equipped kitchen has dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, steam oven, 5 ring stoves, freezer, refrigerator, a wide selection of pots and pans with several cooking utensils and quality china crockeries, toaster, american coffee maker and a kettle. Anything special that might be needed will be bought for my guests with pleasure!
The 49’’inch flat tv has Sky channels with movies in english and a wide selection of international channels.
4 guests can sleep comfortably: the master bedroom with 4 windows overlooking the garden ha a king size colonial bed by Flamant with a high end quality mattress and memory foam pillows while the living room is provided with a new double size comfortable sofa bed with a mattress and an additional memory foam mattress and pillows.

The location is so convenient to everything...shops, mini markets, restaurants...just a 5 minute walk to everything you need. We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat!

La Casina is a beautiful, luxury apartment set over two floors, with the added benefit of a stunning, private garden within the city walls of Lucca. The apartment itself was immaculate, beautifully furnished and equipped with quality equipment and everything you could ever need for a shorta longer stay. We stayed for only four nights, but could want for nothing and would happily visit again for a longer period of time. The apartment is very spacious with exquisite accessories, candles, chandeliers, books and ornaments. The garden was an added bonus. We could not believe that we had exclusive use of it. It was so peaceful and we loved enjoying a leisurely breakfast and freshly made coffee at the sheltered table before a day of wandering around the lovely city of Lucca. In the evening, it was fabulous to be able to sit outside in the late sunshine,by candlelight later on in the evening, enjoying a glass (or two!) of wine, listening to the birdsong and the distant hum of the city. The lemon trees, the pomegranate tree and the flowers and greenery of the garden just added to the scents, the sounds and the whole ambiance of this lovely apartment. The location of the apartment is perfect - a residential area, but right in the heart of the city, with restaurants, shops and bars within a very short walk. Mrs Sonia is a lovely lady who would do everything she can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. There is a really helpful book of information which she has put together, including everything you could wish to know about the apartment, the city and things to do in the surrounding area, including restaurants, bars, shopping, excursions, places to visit either nearbyfurther afield, transport, taxis, etc. We would return in a heartbeat. We parked outside the walls near Porto San Donato, and it was a quick walk (even quicker bike ride) to feed the parking meter every day. Great restaurants are close by, and Manuel and colleagues are super helpful. Washer and drying racks were great, and cooking in was easy breakfast on the patio every day. The master shower and bathtub are amazing (although second shower and bathroom are teeny tiny) and AC was a blessing. Thanks for a wonderful stay in your beautiful city.

As if that wasn’t enough, the outside courtyard area complete with another dining table and a plethora of choices for seating was beyond anything I had envisioned within the walls of Lucca. (It’s positively magical at night with the beautiful up-lighting).
But above all of the physical attributes of this lovely apartment, the service from Lucca Apartments and Villas, specifically Manuel, made our stay. His welcome, local recommendations and suggestions and service throughout the week exceeded our expectations. We endured a family tragedy whilst in Lucca and the outpouring of empathy and support from these wonderful people will never be forgotten. |

She recommended the transport company & they were so efficient & friendly. Sonia showed us around the apartment and gave us some extremely useful information. The staff were attentive and professional and dealt with all my enquiries. What a great service. The apartment was amazing! We even dined in on a couple of the nights because the garden was so beautiful and dreamy. We will certainly be back and most definitely be booking our next accommodation through v&a!!!

The apartment is beautiful and very well appointed. It is situated in the perfect location to enjoy the city of Lucca and all it has to offer. It is very easy to walk out to the many wonderful trattorias and restaurants which are close by as are the walls a 2-5 minute walk. We loved returning to to it after a busy day exploring. The gardens are stunning and very well maintained and the interior is furnished to an extremely high standard. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely recommend and return. Lucca is a real hidden gem in Tuscany and a wonderful base to visit other parts of the region.

The bed and bathrooms are convenient and romantic. Another great added value are the presence of the bikes we could use, it makes visiting Lucca very easy. Sonia was also very flexible in letting us use the bikes the day of the checking out, which was very convenient. This place is strongly recommended and we would like to come back. he most beautiful apartment we’ve ever stayed in, can’t recommend it enough. We stayed for 5 nights as an anniversary trip after getting married in Lucca the previous year. Sonia greeted us warmly on arrival and showed us around. The space is just outstanding and feels super luxurious. The huge garden is beautiful to relax in with the sound of the fountain in the background. There were two bikes in the garden which we made good use of to explore. It was super hot when we stayed during August so the air con was very welcome. Sidrak and Sonia were on hand to answer queries within minutes and the house literally has anything you could need. Just such a beautiful place.

We parked outside the walls near Porto San Donato, and it was a quick walk (even quicker bike ride) to feed the parking meter every day. Great restaurants are close by, and Ms. Sonia and colleagues are super helpful. Washer and drying racks were great, and cooking in was easy breakfast on the patio every day. The master shower and bathtub are amazing (although second shower and bathroom are teeny tiny) and AC was a blessing. Thanks for a wonderful stay in your beautiful city.

La Casina was even better than we had hoped: an exquisitely furnished, completely updated and thoroughly comfortable interior embedded in a spacious, private and equally well-designed courtyard garden, with two bicycles and a very convenient location to boot. After a month of touring, we needed a luxurious retreat, and Mrs. Sonia provided it in full. Lucca is a wonderful city in and of itself, but also offers easy access to a diverse and interesting surrounding region. We found all of Mrs. Sonia’s recommendations for restaurants, activities and day trips to be right on the mark. Count us as completely satisfied visitors who left ready to return.
