Filippo the host was very helpful and showed us the house. He also provided a very nice guide of restaurantsand places to visit around. It is very near Lucca, Pisa, Florencia, St Gimignano, Siena, Bologna, max 1hr30 away. We had cooking lessons with Stefania and my kids. She prepared a very tasty aperitif before starting the lesson and brought a lot of ingredients from local places. We learned how to cook 3 different pastas with different methods as the “nonnas” did and the sauces were amazing. The house is very well equipped and is surrounded by nature. We really had a great week with my family. I recommend this house and I would love to come back.Thank you Stefania, Saverio and Drago 🫶🏼 |

We loved our 7-night stay in this stunning large country house in a woodland setting. The house is beautifully furnished with antique furniture, artwork and plants in a way that celebrates the charm of the home. The large kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we enjoyed bringing Tuscan delights back to the house to make meals together. The grounds are lovely and the bravest amongst us enjoyed a dip in the pool in April!
All the bedrooms were comfortable and we all slept very peacefully in this quiet, rural setting. The location is great. There are walks through the woodlands directly from the property. There's a small village a short drive away with cafe and restaurant and then a town about 10-15 minutes away that has everything you need. We really loved how easy it was to make day trips to Lucca, Cinque Terre and small hilltop towns. The host was very responsive and really wanted to make sure we had a good stay. Highly recommended. |

We hired a private chef for two nights (through Arianna and Friends) and they were excellent. I would highly recommend them. We rented the villa with our son, daughter-in-law and their two small children. THey enjoyed the stay as well. The pool was a nice bonus.

The house is amazing and it’s extremely private. We really enjoyed ourselves for 5 days, mixing day trips to nearby towns (Lucca was great!) and beaches with days by the pool in the garden. Perfect for us - 6 adults of 70-35 years and three kids of 1ver mais
The house is amazing and it’s extremely private. We really enjoyed ourselves for 5 days, mixing day trips to nearby towns (Lucca was great!) and beaches with days by the pool in the garden. Perfect for us - 6 adults of 70-35 years and three kids of 1-5 years. The owner, Severio, turned up quite late at night and stayed at his apartment in another end of the house for one night, I assume just to check out who we were. Didn’t disturb us - he was really nice, told us about the house and it’s surroundings and welcomed us with a bottle of wine. All in all a very pleasant stay that perfectly matched our expectations, a lot thanks to the host’s thorough and correct descriptions of the house. The host’s representative, Filippo, was great.
