When you’ve had your fill, return home to your historic apartment in the heart of Lucca for a night-cap on the TERRACE and some people-watching over Piazza San Giovanni. Do it all again tomorrow, but this time, turn left instead of right for a whole new experience.
When you’re not out exploring Lucca, the elegant interiors of PUCCINI PENTHOUSE will provide an iconic Italian ambiance. Decked out in antique flooring dated back to early 1900s and warm leather furniture, The PUCCINI PENTHOUSE shows off modern sophistication and classic style.
The apartment’s central location comes in handy, as early mornings and late nights are the most hassle-free times to visit popular sites. The Church of San Giovanni is literally attached to the apartment on one side and that’s were Puccini concerts are held daily at 7 pm. This is the historic headquarters of the only festival dedicated to Puccini and his music in his birth-place. The festival includes concerts and recitals with different performers each evening. There will be over seventy singers and two pianists alternating in the daily performances: this is one of Lucca main attraction that became the top rated ‘Thing to See’ on Tripadvisor.
The Cathedral of San Martino is right on the back of the apartment, shops and restaurants are all around including the recently awarded One Michelin Star Restaurant Il Giglio (opposite from the apartment, at the corner of the piazza). In the Square below the apartment it takes place the bespoke Antique Market: this is the most exciting and most treasured place to stay in Lucca!
Let the local markets and PUCCINI PENTHOUSE’s fully equipped kitchen inspire you to try your hand at preparing some traditional Italian cuisine. Dine with up to 8 guests inside or if it’s a meal for one, take your plate out to the terrace. On nights in, curl up on the sofa to catch up on some reading or kick back and watch the soccer match on television.
The closest car park is located in a 5 mins walk while the Train Station of Lucca is located in a 7 mins walk away.

This was a spectacular apartment. In piazza San Giovanni right beside the church that offers Puccini concerts every night. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and very clean. Kitchen was great for preparing nibbles and drinksa full cooked meal. The location was great. Easy to get to the wall and walk the city and close to great restaurants and shopping. Lucca is at the same time a quintessential medieval Tuscan town and modern hub for working abroad. Tourist are around but you get the feel of real Italian living. We would go back in heartbeat. John

Travel cot & high chair provided was not there for our first night and when the cot did arrive, the base was broken. We had to do a makeshift repair to make it safe for our granddaughter.

This is a fantastic and LARGE apartment in Lucca in a great location. You are located close to the main shopping street, but in a quiet piazza. But also close enough to the wall that it's easy to take a nice walkeven get to the train station on foot see more
This is a fantastic and LARGE apartment in Lucca in a great location. You are located close to the main shopping street, but in a quiet piazza. But also close enough to the wall that it's easy to take a nice walkeven get to the train station on foot if you need to. The apartment itself was so spacious! There were 6 of us and plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We never used the available bikes due to rain, but that was a nice touch that 4 were provided for us. The apartment got a ton of natural light, included two private patio areas and looked out over a beautiful garden. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations.

Sidrak, Chiara, Sonia and team provided an excellent service from first contact and throughout our stay, and Chiara warmly greeted us on arrival so our first experience in the apartment was excellent. The apartment is ideally located, less than 10 minutes easy walk from Lucca train station, and a decent supermarket is just 5 minutes away. Places to eat and drink are everywhere, even in February. The space, furnishings and views are even more magical in real life than in the professional photography, and the window over the square for the weekend market is a captivating place to sit and absorb the comings, goings and sounds. The stairs to the apartment are easy to climb with good quality banisters on both sides all the way up, and everything about the place is comfortable, warm, high quality and feels safe. Lucca is a clean city and environmentally-aware, with designated days for recycling and rubbish collection. However, an ‘ecological area’ (for recycling and rubbish disposing at any time) is just 6 minutes walk from the apartment where Via Della Caserma meets Via Francesco Carrara, not far from Porta San Pietro (the old gate in the wall you pass through from the train station to the apartment. My advice: stay in this apartment!

I usually don’t book a property with no reviews, like this property, but Sidrak had some good reviews on other homes in Lucca, so I decided to take the chance. This apartment is the best of Airbnb in all categories. It has clearly been recently renovated. All fixtures throughout are very high quality. The decor is something I would love to have in my own home. It is impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable. It is a home where I would be proud to have guests (and we did a few times).

In piazza San Giovanni right beside the church that offers Puccini concerts every night. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and very clean. Kitchen was great for preparing nibbles and drinksa full cooked meal. The location was great. Easy to get to thsee more
In piazza San Giovanni right beside the church that offers Puccini concerts every night. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and very clean. Kitchen was great for preparing nibbles and drinksa full cooked meal. The location was great. Easy to get to the wall and walk the city and close to great restaurants and shopping. Lucca is at the same time a quintessential medieval Tuscan town and modern hub for working abroad. Tourist are around but you get the feel of real Italian living. We would go back in heartbeat.

Can’t beat the location of this apartment. It’s close to everything but also tucked away in the corner, super quiet and peaceful.
The place is generally clean & tidy. It’s as shown in the photos. It is spacious and pretty.

We arrived later than expected, they waited for us patiently which we really appreciated. And gave us recommendations while we were there. |

Stayed here with our 3 kids and 2 grandparents, and it was absolutely perfect. Wonderful location - walkable to everything inside the walls - and absolutely beautiful. Apartment was beautifully decorated, well equipped kitchen, etc. Only thing to notsee more

We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to be back soon!!!

This home is as beautiful as it looks! We had very comfortable beds, a kitchen and bathrooms with everything you need, inside the very town center with lots of stores, basilicas, food, as well as kind townspeople! It’s a 5 minute walk to and from thesee more
